Join MLC on Monday, April 22nd for a FREE learn to play lacrosse session.  Open to girls and boys of all ages and experience levels.

L2P will be at Bertram Athletic Fields (or Monticello High School in case of inclement weather.)

2024 Summer Registration deadline is April 26, 2024. 

Age Eligibility for Spring/Summer 2024

• Summer registration deadline is April 26th.
• Season begins on June 9th - July 28th
• Late registration fee is $50.00.
• Practices are 2-3 evenings a week at Bertram Athletic Fields.
• Games and practices are held on week nights so weekends are free for family time!
• There will be no games July 3rd or 4th.
• 12/14U generally played on Tue/Thursday
• 8/10U generally played on Mon/Wed
• Teams primarily play single games on weeknights but doubleheaders will be scheduled upon requests when able. 
• Summer Youth State Tournaments/Jamborees:
  8/10U Jamborees: Sat July 20, 2024 @ Delano HS
  12/14U: Sat & Sun, July 27-28, 2024 @ Delano HS
• Uniforms must be purchased for 10/12/14U players
• 8U players will be issued a jersey that must be returned at the end of the season.

Please make sure you have your child's USA Lacrosse membership up to date.  If you did not do it at the time of registration, you'll need to email the USA Lacrosse membership information to the Monticello Lacrosse Club at montilacrosse@gmail.com before the 1st practice.

A reminder that a copy of birth certificates may be required when registering for USA Lacrosse.

Goalie Chest Protectors
Effective January 1, 2021, all goalie chest protectors must be designed for lacrosse and meet the NOCSAE performance standard, ND200. This requirement is mandatory in the US Lacrosse boys’ and girls’ youth rules, the NFHS boys’ and girls’ high school rules, and the NCAA men’s and women’s rules. All products that meet the NOCSAE standard, ND200, must be certified by the Safety Equipment Institute and include the NOCSAE Lacrosse label.

Boys Chest/Shoulder Pads
Beginning in 2022, all field players in the boys’/men’s game must have shoulder pads or protectors that also meet the NOCSAE performance standard, ND200.
